Groups for Nov 2010 team
projects presentations
.....MGTD06-groups-2008.htm
- once
you have a name for your group you can let me know and I will
replace the "letter" with the group name
- groups listed in reverse
order of when I received the information
- it is "OK" for more than
one group to do a scenario, there are 3 scenarios and 8 groups so it is
expected that there will be 2 or 3 groups doing one case
- therefore you
should try to "customize" your case and make it unique in order
to explain "many kewl" applications of e-commerce and marketing in the
information age
IT IS VERY
important that you keep to the time limits posted so
as to not run into the time allocated for another group
- if you think your "take
down" time, or conclusions will cause you to run over, then shorten the
main part
- in the "real world" corporate
presenters are very tightly controlled for time and have to make "pitches"
in a very short time
- the short amount of time
is for 2 reasons
1 - there simply is not
time available for a longer presentation - unless we spread this out over
3 classes and that would cut the time I have to "teach you"
2 - the "audience" has already
made their decision on your capability in the first 1 or 2 minutes, going
beyond 10 minutes is "bonus", but not likely to change opinion
- you will have 25 minutes
- use it wisely

The calendar may say this
is a 4 month course but in reality it is 2 1/2 months cause we only have
2 classes in Sept and no classes in Dec so everything is jam packed up
in October and November
