- updated 2008 May 06

A 3rd year undergraduate course in the
Division of Management
University of Toronto at Scarborough, Canada

For the section(s) taught by Tim Richardson ,  Wednesday evenings (Sept-Dec), (Jan-Apr), Monday evenings (May-Aug)

For the final exam, you would be advised to read the newspapers on a regular basis, check the site http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/canadexport/menu-en.asp and using canadaexport and newspapers you should research the intl export/import activities of a medium/larged sized Canadian company so that you might be able to answer a long exam question based (mostly) on material and questions addressed in Section D and E of this course. Remember there is no text for the course, so in lieu of reading the text, the equivalent time should be spend reading the newspapers and the recommended websites.
While it is the intention of the professor of this course to do everything possible to teach as much as possible about International Business Management in the 3 1/2 months we are together, students should appreciate that the marking of 3rd and 4th year exams and assignment is a challenging situation in light of the competitive environment and in consideration of the University's grading policy. For further information you are welcome to read the "University Grading Practices Policy" posted on various sites
