So, here I have the two pieces, the top piece is positioned to show where it will finally go, the middle piece (which holds the lights) just leans against the bumper. They look grey cause I gave them a coat of tremclad primer - ended up painting them black gloss with Tremclad |

So this is what it finally
looked like with the lights mounted. I was quite pleased. In combination
with the 1/4" thick diamond plate customed shaped bumper, it is pretty
well "anti-tank" proof, well, at least I can hit a large sized deer, or
a medium sized Honda !!
Not entirely "Canadian-proof" though - unfortunately the legs on a moose are too long and the body will still crash through the window - unless I get a 2 foot lift (another day) |
