	to create the shape of the guard, I made a template out of cardboard, from which I would bend the shape
	So, here I have the two pieces, the top piece is positioned to show where it will finally go, the middle piece (which holds the lights) just leans against the bumper. They look grey cause I gave them a coat of tremclad primer - ended up painting them black gloss with Tremclad
1500 x 1000         1000 x 634	So this is what it finally looked like with the lights mounted. I was quite pleased. In combination with the 1/4" thick diamond plate customed shaped bumper, it is pretty well "anti-tank" proof, well, at least I can hit a large sized deer, or a medium sized Honda !! Not entirely "Canadian-proof" though - unfortunately the legs on a moose are too long and the body will still crash through the window - unless I get a 2 foot lift (another day)
	by 2010 had to re-paint the grill and brush guard several times - here it is in first week of April 2010 after a fresh coat

ya, we do put it on the hood up here - kinda hard to carry it over your shoulder for 10+ miles through the bush 31" Goodyear MTRs .303 Lee Enfield w Synthetic stock and Bushnell 4x9 scope
